Letonia octubre/noviembre 2021. 

     Ducado de Curlandia-Kurzeme, donde los días de otoño se visten de amarillo, rojo verde y gris.

     Lugar mágico para cazar becadas. 

 Lugar salvaje donde el sentimiento y el aire se funden; los amaneceres cambian de color cada día, los arboles hablan con el viento, la lluvia se funde con la hojarasca, los perros disfrutan como en el paraiso y las becadas se  preparan para el gran viaje hacia el sur.   

     Allí cazadores de diversas  edades y países se dan cita en otoño para disfrutar de la convivencia y la caza de la Dama del bosque.

       Los idiomas se entremezclan al atardecer hasta hacerse ilegibles y cazadores y becadas se preparan para el próximo día.

    La incertidumbre de lo que ocurrirá el siguiente  amanecer no es comparable con lo ocurrido la anterior jornada  pero seguro que la Dama estará allí para volver a sortear a perros y cazadores. 

   Kurzeme-Curlandia es un lugar mágico en esas fechas, el sol y la  lluvia se saludan diariamente haciendo del territorio un lugar excepcional para las becadas en Letonia. El arco iris es testigo de la monumental belleza de los paisajes.

      Así pasan los días haciéndose inolvidables para cualquiera que visite en otoño la península de Kurzeme en la costa oeste de Letonia.

     Vacaciones, aventura y caza se dan la mano en ese lugar entre gentes de diferentes idiomas y costumbres, pero todos tienen en común a la Dama del bosque y los perros.

         La costa oeste de Letonia es ruta de migración de  aves hacia el sur de Europa lo que hace que estos territorios sean muy apropiados para la caza de becadas.

Los últimos años debido al cambio climático se observa un retraso en la migración otoñal de las aves, por lo que ahora también noviembre es un mes apropiado para la caza en Letonia ofreciendo tan buenos resultados como octubre.

   Los territorios de caza son llanos y asequibles para cazadores de cualquier edad. De  belleza sublime y naturaleza salvaje. Son territorios muy poco poblados y la diversa fauna deambula por doquier con abundante alimento disponible. 

     Son lugares de cría y estadía de becadas.

También las becadas en migración encuentran allí lugar de descanso y alimentación disponible en su ruta hacia el sur.

Por este motivo se encuentran allí aves locales y aves en migración. La  fuerza  de las aves está en su plenitud al ser su territorio de cría e inicio de migración

        Por este motivo los cazadores valoran más la caza en Letonia, ya que el reto de su caza es aún mayor que en los lugares de invernada del sur de Europa.

  La Dama pone a prueba diariamente a perros y cazadores y hace que  la experiencia en su conjunto sea maravillosa.

       La experiencia de cazar en la península de Kurzeme se hace inolvidable y los cazadores el mismo día de abandonar el lugar hacia sus países ya están pensando en volver al año siguiente.
